​Jumping Mouse Children’s Center provides children’s therapy at no or little cost to families. This accessibility is possible because of our generous community. There are many ways to support our healing work and ensure we serve as many children as we can.

In our post pandemic climate, we are struggling to meet our financial needs. Like many organizations, we have had to make many changes to accommodate the challenges of COVID. For the children that were already attending Jumping Mouse, the changes were another layer on top of the challenges that brought them to Jumping Mouse in the first place. Our therapists were there as first line support for these children and families. In the years since, we have continued to see increased requests from families due to higher rates of anxiety and depression. While requests continue to remain elevated, the additional financial support given during the pandemic has dried up. Many foundations have pulled back funding as well. Over the last year, three of our major funders have pulled back to reevaluate their giving strategy. As the only mental health organization in Jefferson County serving children as young as three, we believe it is essential to continue offering services to our community. To do so, we humbly ask for support from the community to remain sustainable.
